Driver
Lewis Hamilton
Number
44
Bio
Lewis is the most successful world champion on the grid, with 6 World Championships to his name. Looking to secure his 7th title this year, to draw level with Michael Schumacher. Its his 7th season with Mercedes.

Driver
Valtteri Bottas
Number
77
Bio
Valtteri joined Mercedes in 2017 and has kept Lewis on his toes. He joined from Williams thanks to his connection to Toto Wolff, but he is a serious contender for some decent points this year. Will he be Valtteri 2.0, 3.0 or even 4.0 by the end of the season?

Driver
Charles Leclerc
Number
16
Bio
The Monogasque driver Charles, has shone in the red team since joining in 2019. So much so, Ferrari have really begun to back him. Could he win the season this year? What is absolutely certain is that he will certainly try, and the team will most probably favour him with the strategy calls.

Driver
Sebastian Vettel
Number
5
Bio
Another multiple world Champion on the grid (4 to be precise). Sebastian is in his final season with the Italian flagship team. With something to prove for his race seat and future in the sport, I’m predicting a few fireworks!

Driver
Max Verstappen
Number
33
Bio
Max is the one to watch this year. The Honda power unit is now up to speed, so it is Max’s turn to prove himself. Does he have what it takes to beat Lewis consistently over the full season?
He is in his 6th now of Formula 1! Time to live up to the hype! Can he?

Driver
Alexander Albon
Number
23
Bio
One of the young drivers that have been very exciting to watch. Alex was only given his first F1 drive last year in the Toro Rosso side. He was promptly promoted to the junior team and has impressed. Certainly did better than Pierre Gasly in the same machinery.

Driver
Daniel Ricciardo
Number
3
Bio
Danny Ricc always has a smile on his face. He didn’t really have the car last year to impress but has made the decision after just one full season, to leave after 2020. He is headed for pastures new at McLaren. That means for the rest of this year he has something to prove. I feel however that the Renault management structure will now favour Ocon for team strategy calls.

Driver
Esteban Ocon
Number
31
Bio
Esteban had a forced year out of the cockpit due to the movement of his team mate for 2019. He was the casualty. He did however bag a position with Mercedes in a testing capacity. This had put him in good stead for a race seat. As a French driver in a French team, it offers an exciting proposition for French fans.

Driver
Pierre Gasly
Number
10
Bio
Pierre was very unfortunate last year as he had his shot in the top Red Bull team and unfortunately didn’t perform. However once back in Toro Rosso (This year named Alpha Tauri) he drove fairly consistently, maybe the pressure just didn’t suit him.

Driver
Daniil Kvyat
Number
26
Bio
Daniil has also been on the end of Helmut Maarko’s hiring and firing in the big team. But with another podium finish in 2019, he proved his worthiness of the seat. With the Honda engine looking more and more powerful and reliable, The AT drivers could be ones to watch.

Driver
Carlos Sainz Jr
Number
55
Bio
Carlos has always impressed and because of this he has been hired to sit next to Charles Leclerc next year in the Ferrari seat. McLaren have got a great driver lineup and Carlos has pledged that he is prepared to do great things this year. Certainly one to watch!

Driver
Lando Norris
Number
4
Bio
Lando is young and eager. He is always as entertaining on track as he is off track. He has proven a great racer and this season will come into his own I’m sure. Plus McLarens car does seem to have something a bit special in comparison to last year. I’m excited to see him develop!

Driver
Lance Stroll
Number
18
Bio
Lance has had a few strokes of genius on the track and does seem to consistently finish the races. He just needs to start finishing higher up the field, because his team mate has the much higher consistency. Racing point (or Tracing point, as they are being referred as) have got a pretty similar car to the Mercs, so they may be higher up the field this year.

Driver
Sergio Perez
Number
11
Bio
Sergio is great to watch in the midfiled always tussling with those around him. He has been with Racing point (previously Force India) pretty much from the get go in his career, apart from a short 1 season stint at McLaren. He is now a veteran and he will be wanting to score some decent points this year.

Driver
Romain Grosjean
Number
8
Bio
Romain has unfortunately been the butt of the jokes over the last couple of seasons and that’s just from his team manager Gunther Steiner. However he must be doing something right, as HAAS have kept him on for yet another year. How many wings will he go through this year? or will he actually get to grips with his machine this time around?

Driver
Kevin Magnussen
Number
20
Bio
Kevin also had a turbulent year with a few run ins with his team mate. There were whispers abound of perhaps the team changing both of their drivers. but that never came to pass. He has a lot of questions to answer this year. And with Ocon back on the grid, could we see more fireworks in parc ferme?

Driver
Kimi Raikkonen
Number
7
Bio
The last of the grids World Champions is Kimi Raikkonen. He has a cult status, NO BULLSHIT, approach to his racecraft. You can always guarantee that he will give the most awkward interviews, but also offer his consistency, which is always welcome on the grid. BWOAH!

Driver
Anthonio Giovinazzi
Number
99
Bio
Anthonio hasn’t set the world alight so far in his F1 career. So much so, he wasn’t even picked by Ferrari, even though he is part of their young driver program. He has it all to prove and with a team mate such as Kimi, it makes it ever the more difficult.

Driver
George Russell
Number
63
Bio
George Russell in my mind is a definite future world champion. He has a great driving style and his skill hasn’t gone unnoticed around the grid. Unfortunately for George he didn’t score a point last year, but that was entirely down to the fact he was driving the worst car on the grid. During the off season he has proven his skill in the SIM racing we’ve been having instead of real racing. Proving the level of talent hidden under his helmet!

Driver
Nicholas Latifi
Number
6
Bio
Nicholas has yet to start a race for Williams, having only just got his bum on the seat. But what we do know is his dad has a stake in the team, so we may just see him on the grid for a while. He has proven himself in Formula 2 last year by coming second in the standings. Lets see if he can make the leap as easily as his team mate has.
